Who We Are

MemberMagix is a product of Surfstyk Unip LDA, a company registered in Portugal. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit membermagix.com (this website) and when you use the MemberMagix WordPress plugin.

Data We Collect

On This Website

• Pro waitlist form: First name and email address — submitted voluntarily when you join the waitlist for MemberMagix Pro.
• Analytics: We use self-hosted Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool. It collects anonymous page view data only — no cookies, no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking. Data is stored on our own server.

In the Plugin

• Member email addresses: Collected by site owners for magic link authentication. Stored in the site owner's WordPress database — not on our servers.
• License keys: If you purchase a paid license, your license key is validated against our licensing server (keygen.surfstyk.com). We store the email address and license key associated with your purchase.
• Payment data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

How We Use Your Data

• To notify you when MemberMagix Pro launches.
• To validate and manage plugin licenses.
• To process payments for paid licenses via Stripe.
• To understand how visitors use this website (anonymous analytics).

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. Our analytics tool (Umami) is cookieless. No cookie consent banner is required.

If you purchase a paid license, Stripe may set cookies during the checkout process on their own domain. Please refer to Stripe's cookie policy for details.

Third-Party Services

• FormSubmit.co — processes the Pro waitlist form submission and forwards it to our inbox.
• Stripe — handles payment processing for paid licenses.
• Fonts — all typefaces are self-hosted on our server. No requests are made to Google or other third-party font services.

Data Retention

Pro waitlist submissions (name and email) are retained indefinitely in our email inbox. License and payment records are retained for as long as your license is active and as required by Portuguese tax law. You can request deletion at any time.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).

Data Security

All traffic to this website and our servers is encrypted via TLS. Our infrastructure is hosted on Hetzner in the EU. Access to servers is restricted to key-based SSH authentication.
